AUCTION RULES
1BIDDING
All bids must be placed in the designated auction post or through the official Collectique Online bidding channel.
2STARTING BID
Each lot will have a clearly stated starting bid.
3BID INCREMENTS
Each new bid must be higher than the previous bid by the minimum increment stated for that lot.
4BIDS & WITHDRAWAL
Bids are subject to these Auction Rules. A bid may be withdrawn before the auction is declared closed, in accordance with applicable South African law.
5AUCTION CLOSING
Time extensions may apply to an auction. Any applicable extension will be clearly stated in the auction post. The highest valid bid at the end of the extension period will be the winning bid, subject to any disclosed reserve price and applicable law.
6RESERVE PRICE
Some lots may have a reserve price. If the reserve price is not reached, the lot may remain unsold or the highest bid may be subject to confirmation by the seller.
7WINNING BIDDERS
The winning bidder will be contacted by Collectique Online after the auction with payment instructions and their invoice.
8PAYMENT
Payment must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9SHIPPING & COLLECTION
Shipping is by courier only and is at the buyer's cost. The buyer is responsible for providing accurate delivery details. Optional insurance, where available, must be arranged and paid for by the buyer. Local collection may be arranged by prior agreement.
10COINS & CONDITION
All photographs and descriptions are opinions provided in good faith. Buyers must carefully examine the photographs, descriptions, grades (where applicable) and condition before bidding. Questions regarding any item must be sent by DM by 16h00 to allow sufficient time for a response. Items are sold "voetstoots", subject to applicable South African law.
11GRADED COINS
For certified coins, the grade and certification number shown in the listing will be considered part of the description.
12FAIR BIDDING
Collusion, fake bids, bid manipulation or any attempt to interfere with the auction process is strictly prohibited.
13ACCEPTANCE OF AUCTION RULES
By registering to bid and/or placing a bid, the bidder confirms that they have read and accepted these Auction Rules.
ADDITIONAL AUCTION POLICIES
RESPECT
Bidders must remain courteous and respectful at all times. Posts or comments that do not meet these standards may be deleted and any bids contained therein may be deemed invalid. Serious or repeated misconduct may result in the bidder being blocked.
SANCTIONS
Collectique Online reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to restrict or remove access to the site at its discretion. Members or followers may be blocked for infringements of the rules, including disrespectful behaviour, non-payment, unfair or fake bidding, or interference with the auction process.
POSTING
Only Collectique Online Admins may post items for Auction or "Buy Now". Collectique Online reserves all rights in relation to its auction posts and database. Advertising or promoting alternative sales platforms in bidding posts is not permitted.
BUY NOW
Some lots may be offered at a "Buy Now" price. The lot will only be removed from the auction once payment has been confirmed. If bidding exceeds the Buy Now price before payment is confirmed, the Buy Now option automatically falls away.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Auction Rules and the Collectique.online Terms & Conditions must be read together. Any dispute relating to an auction or transaction must be submitted in writing through an official Collectique.online communication channel.
